Summer of Love Yoga Festival 2027 in Kiental, Switzerland

Four Days. One Valley. A Whole Lot of Love.

August 26-29, 2027 Summer of Love Yoga Festival

Picture this: you wake up to mountain air, roll out your mat or grab your meditation cushion as the sun climbs over the peaks, and start the day chanting mantras with new friends. By lunchtime you've tried a yoga style you had never heard of. By evening you're singing, dancing or lying under a gong bath, wondering why every weekend can't feel like this. That's the Summer of Love Yoga Festival, happening in the little picturesque Alpine village of Kiental in the Bernese Oberland, Switzerland.

Now in its 13th edition, the Summer of Love takes place every year on the last weekend of August, from Thursday to Sunday. Swiss yogis call it "Das Yogafestival der Schweiz," and one visit is usually enough to understand why. With more than 30 teachers and over 140 classes, workshops, talks and concerts, the hardest part of your weekend will be choosing what to do next.

Ready for a Good Time?

Beginner or seasoned yogi, you'll feel right at home among like-hearted souls. Some classes happen indoors, others outside under the open sky, and there is something for every level and every mood. Want to sweat? Want to slow down? Want to sing, dance or simply sit still? It's all here, and you can mix it any way you like. Many classes are taught in English, so international guests can join in easily from the very first day.

The People Who Make the Magic

The heart of the Summer of Love is its people. Every year, yoga teachers, musicians, speakers, healers and facilitators travel to Kiental from all over Switzerland, Germany, France, India, Bali and beyond. Some teach strong, flowing classes. Some sing ancient Vedic chants. Some lead ice baths, cacao ceremonies or ecstatic dance. Together, they create a colourful mix of traditions that you rarely find in one place. Many teachers come back year after year, and it shows. Backstage feels like a family reunion, and that warmth spills into every class.

Punnu Wasu at the Summer of Love

Punnu Wasu has been part of the festival since its second edition. He usually opens each festival morning with mantra chanting, guides meditation and sound healing sessions, and fills the evenings with joyful kirtan, often together with other musicians and teachers. All of his sessions are taught in English, with German translation on request.
