JAN 31 – Feb 8, 2020, 6:30am – 7:00pm or 9:00pm, The Yogi’s Garden in Payangan, Bali
Join master teacher Punnu Singh Wasu for his eight and a half-day 100hr advanced meditation training in a magical garden set in central Bali’s beautiful countryside. This is a course for students of meditation, contemplation, and yoga who are specifically interested in the self knowledge necessary for meeting personal and humanity’s spiritual needs.
Modern life has left mankind with a set of problems that have no technical, medical, or psychological solution. Through the ages, spiritual practices have addressed the need for deeper meaning, satisfaction, and joy in human experience. The tools from this course specifically address these “impossible” challenges to fulfill the dream of devout and concerned people in caring for and loving others.
Practitioners and yoga teachers will find this course tailored to the evolution of modern yoga toward more metaphysical practice – the real purpose of original yogic endeavour.
In addition to purified desire and effort, meditation requires a calmness for understanding and precise intuition. Transformation requires experience plus skill. With a focus on Eastern philosophy, this course takes a student with commitment, and some experience, into a deeper practice that can effectively serve a hungry world.
Without experience, we can only share theory. Instruction for this course is designed to grow each student’s spiritual capacities through deep meditative experiences. Over 8.5 days, the accumulated experiences will form the foundation for authentic spiritual self-leadership.
Guided meditation, yoga, study of Eastern philosophy, and music punctuate days of rich instruction and discussion. Work starts early, and on some days, instruction will continue into the evening. Lecture, meditation, and celebration bring activity and joy to the full-on effort that brings profound discovery and new depths to reality to the student. Teaching materials are supplied and draw upon ancient and modern traditions of spiritual practice from around the world.
Students should have completed a 100hr or 200hr meditation teacher training either with Punnu Singh Wasu or with other school or have a strong desire to join. It is recommended to have a regular meditation practice and a 10 day Vipassana experience to get the most out of this course.
An experienced teacher, healer, and practitioner of meditation of over 30 years, Punnu Singh Wasu brings a record of deep, demonstrated experience to this course. He has taught all over the world, and has offered several extended meditation training courses from his base in Ubud, Bali, Indonesia as well as abroad. Built upon his experience growing up in India, Punnu has an extensive scholarly background in diverse spiritual traditions, communication, and teaching. He integrates these organically to meet the specific needs of individual students from diverse backgrounds. He is also a Kirtan Master of over 40 years of experience.
